What is in home training? In home training is personal training in the comfort of your home.

Valen begins by doing an assessment/consultation with you at your home free of charge. This is the time he takes to get a better understanding of what you need and customizes a unique exercise program for you to meet your goals. Following that appointment, Valen will provide the exercise equipment specific to what you need. 

Creating safe and effective exercise programs for older adults requires knowledge, experience, communication and the clients needs and wants in mind. Valen’s ability to execute this allows his clients to reach their goals and achieve success. 

 

Valen’s visit with you includes a multitude of factors such as balance training, fall prevention, brain training, cardiovascular endurance, strength and muscular endurance, flexibility training and dual task exercises all with function in mind. You will see improvements in your mobility, energy levels, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, bone density, memory, sleep, and self confidence. If there is anything you would you like to focus on, please let Valen know.

Rates

The initial assessment will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes. The exercise sessions last between 45 to 60 minutes (two times a week minimum). Valen accepts cash either after each session, after each week, or monthly. Cost is decided with travel time in mind and will be discussed during the initial assessment.
